    Près de 50 professeurs d'anglais d'origine canadienne soupçonnés de travailler illégalement ou d'avoir menti sur leurs compétences ont été arrêtés. Selon des sources officielles, 7.800 professeurs d'anglais exercent légalement en Corée du Sud. Quant à ceux qui exercent sans posséder l'intégralité des titres requis, ils seraient environ 20.000.
