    El Ministro de Finanzas de Sudáfrica es partidario de una iniciativa para la transparencia en las ayudas financieras que se centre principalmente en el flujo y gestión de dichas ayudas. Subrayó la importancia de que los ingentes volúmenes de ayuda que se dirigen a África tenga un seguimiento y monitoreo adecuados. El ministro le agradeció a Suecia el apoyo que les brindó para ayudar a recuperar dinero acumulado en bancos europeos.
