    En los últimos años, Uzbekistán ha realizado importantes reformas institucionales y legales para luchar contra la corrupción. Entre ellas, figura el Decreto del presidente de la República de Uzbekistán № UP-5729 "Sobre las medidas para seguir mejorando el sistema de anticorrupción en la República de Uzbekistán" aprobado el 27 de mayo de 2019. De conformidad con este decreto, la Comisión Interinstitucional para la Lucha contra la Corrupción de Uzbek, ha asumido la elaboración del “Plan de acción para luchar contra la Corrupción en la Educación Superior y la Implementación del Proyecto “Industria Libre de Corrupción”, para el período 2019-2020.
