    Por primera vez en Guinea se ha suspendido de sus funciones a profesores debido a casos de corrupción y se ha condenado a algunos estudiantes a pagar una multa o incluso a ir a prisión por cometer fraude en exámenes. Al asumir su cargo, Souaré, Ministro de Educación Superior y de Investigaciones Científicas – surgido del sindicato de profesores con el que luchó contra la corrupción tiempo atrás – indicó que haría de la lucha contra el fraude y la corrupción su primera prioridad.
