    Le ministère de l’Éducation a déclaré qu’il n’y avait pas de recrutement de personnel en cours et a mis les Kenyans en garde contre d’éventuelles escroqueries. Il a publié la déclaration suivante : « Par la présente, nous signalons qu’un homme se faisant passer pour le responsable des TIC du ministère de l’Éducation soutire de l’argent à des personnes peu méfiantes dans le cadre de leur recrutement au poste d’opérateur de saisie des données au ministère ». La déclaration donne le nom d’un employé fictif du département des TIC, qui se présente comme responsable dudit département et demande aux candidats 2 000 Ksh pour l’achat d’un uniforme.
