    Un tercio de los estudiantes admite cometer engaños en la universidad, copiando ideas de libros o Internet, según una encuesta. De una población de 1.022 estudiantes de pregrado de 119 universidades y centros de secundaria, el estudio reveló que uno de cada seis estudiantes reconocía copiar el trabajo de sus compañeros, mientras que el 10 % admitía buscar documentos en Internet. Según este mismo estudio, los estudiantes hombres son más propensos a copiar el trabajo de sus amigos (21 %) que las estudiantes mujeres (14 %).

    Casi una tercera parte de los estudiantes sondeados en Serbia declararon que sobornarían a alguien si esa fuera la única manera de aprobar un examen, según un estudio dirigido por el Sindicato de Estudiantes de Serbia. Un 69 % haría trampas en sus exámenes si tuvieran la certeza de que no les iban a pillar, mientras que un 53 % dijo que no se sentirían mal por copiar y hacer trampa. Siete de cada diez estudiantes declararon que existe corrupción en los procesos de matriculación y el 79% sabe de gente que copia en los exámenes.
