    Se espera que oficiales de la Comisión Europea sostengan pláticas con representantes del gobierno en Bulgaria sobre la presunta mala administración de fondos operativos del Programa de Ciencias y Educación para el Crecimiento Inteligente del presupuesto de la Unión Europea. Bulgaria ha recibido fondos para 116 acuerdos sumando BGN324 millones (€165 millones o USD$174 millones), y de estos, en ocho proyectos se han reportado malas administraciones, totalizando un presupuesto de BGN180 millones (€92 millones o USD$97 millones).
