    Les médias sociaux se sont insurgés en apprenant que l’une des plus prestigieuses facultés de médecine du Japon aurait falsifié les notes des étudiantes lors de l’examen d’entrée. La faculté de médecine de Tokyo aurait commencé à procéder ainsi dès 2011 afin d’atteindre un quota de 30 % de femmes admises. La direction de cet établissement privé a indiqué vouloir enquêter. Les internautes s’en sont pris au gouvernement à cette occasion, soulignant toute l’ironie de la situation, dans la mesure où le Premier ministre s’était engagé à accroître la participation des femmes à la population active. C’est le plus grand quotidien du pays, Yomiuri Shimbun, qui a publié de l’article consacré aux statistiques d’admission, à l’origine des plaintes.
