    une enquête de sept mois a révélé que plusieurs universités du Chili se livrent illégalement à des activités à but lucratif. Selon un rapport effectué par un comité d'enquête spécial, huit universités ont violé les lois anti- profit en attribuant des augmentations de salaire aux cadres, en accordant des financements à des sociétés appartenant aux mêmes propriétaires privés et en délocalisant des services afin de générer des rentrées d'argent.
