Le Ministre des finances du Swaziland, a indiqué au Sénat que le pays perd chaque année presque deux fois le budget annuel consacré aux services sociaux du fait de la corruption. Il a estimé qu'environ 10.6 million US$ disparaissaient chaque mois– presque 128 million US$ par an – alors que le budget 2010/2011 du gouvernement avait affecté 75 million US$ aux services sociaux, dont 24.2 million US$ destinés à l'éducation.
