    Selon une étude réalisée en 2017 au Zimbabwe par un groupement d’étudiantes appelé Female Students Network Trust, les employés masculins des campus ont harcelé 74 % des étudiantes des institutions d’enseignement supérieur sur tout le territoire. Une conseillère de l’UNESCO en matière d’éducation à la santé indique de nombreux établissements n’ont pas mis en place de politiques ou de programmes à ce sujet, et même lorsque c’est le cas, la crainte empêche parfois les étudiantes de dénoncer les cas de harcèlement commis par leurs professeurs.
