Corruption reduces access to education – from pre-school to university. It creates low-quality learning environments, where the poor suffer the most, and undermines our collective welfare. The video aims to stand up against corruption, because it erodes the foundation of quality education for all. 

Under the Organic Law on Intercultural Education (LOEI) and government directives on measures for prevention, containment, the emotional and economic stability of the educational community, the Ministry of Education prohibits any type of financial contribution by parents for the renovation of classroom façades or any other end-of-school-year expenditure. The Ministry guarantees the right to free education, monitors irregularities, and punishes any cases of misconduct.

Honduras introduces a web-based platform for teachers to report corruption. This platform is aimed at eradicating cases of corruption in the national education system by providing a user-friendly tool that can even be used from a mobile device

The "La Escuela es Nuestra" program was launched in 2019 as an initiative of the Federal Government in Mexico with the overall aim of improving the infrastructure and equipment of public basic education schools. The project focuses on promoting participatory management, with parents and pupils. The golas of this program are to foster citizen responsibility, prevent corruption in school budget management, and promote the values of integrity. 

There are 27 suspected cases of irregularities in the school administration of the Ministry of Education. These irregularities include fake school packages and diplomas, amounting to a total of two million dollars.
