Students monitor local projects in 24 communities in Bacau County, Romania through Integrity Clubs set up in each school. Club members are supported by teachers to monitor public projects and investments such as sports fields, playgrounds, heating systems, school toilets and school or university construction and maintenance to ensure they are delivered and maintained properly using the DevelopmentCheck app. Selected monitors use the mobile app to record their findings during, including problems they identify, proposed solutions, and community feedback on the project or service monitored. When monitors record information in the app, it is immediately displayed on the DevelopmentCheck website. Monitors work with key stakeholders to resolve issues and report back to the app when problems are resolved.
