BudgIT's mission is to simplify the public budget and financial information, making it more accessible and understandable for citizens. The me.yourbudgit.com platform provides credible information on how the Nigerian financial system operates, the flow of funds across the three government levels of administration, revenue sharing formula, and funds allocated for developmental projects. It provides users with access to budget data, public financing information, and government expenditure breakdowns. The organization also uses creative and visually appealing infographics and data visualizations to present complex budget information in a user-friendly manner.

Mobile School Report Card
The Ghana Education Service (GES), with support from UNICEF, launched the Android-based Mobile School Report Card (mSRC) application to address the perceived shortcomings of the paper-based School Report Card (pSRC), which aims to collect key data on the teaching and learning environment in primary schools. The mSRC implementation started in 2015 in three districts and was gradually expanded to 20 districts, covering 1,880 schools by the end of March 2018. Studies commissioned to evaluate the effectiveness of the mSRC programme highlighted its ability to produce more reliable, timely and up-to-date school-level data on key education indicators.

Developed by the Nigerian non-profit organisation BudgIT as part of the Strengthening Civic Advocacy and Local Engagement (SCALE) project, with support from USAID, Tracka Mobile 2.0 Application aims to provide citizens with information and resources to increase their engagement with government projects and services. Users can access information on all federal projects in a given state for a given year. They can also search for and report on projects that directly impact their communities. In addition, the app provides visibility into monthly federal allocations to users' respective local government areas, and serves as an important platform for citizens to connect with their government. Users post about community needs and participate in voting processes to prioritise these needs.
