Serbia is witnessing a deep crisis of the legitimacy of the system and its institutions. Corruption tends to infiltrate economic life, governments, political systems and institutional structures in these systems. The results of a recent CPA survey show that education is on the list of top ten fields in which corruption is most present, just below customs, senior state officials, republic services and health. This paper provides survey data and accounts of corruption in Serbian universities.
