Grenadians seeking an online higher education institution are encouraged to visit the Grenada National Accreditation Board to ensure that the institution is accredited to offer academic certification. According to a quality assurance officer, the quality assurance system is necessary. 

There are 27 suspected cases of irregularities in the school administration of the Ministry of Education. These irregularities include fake school packages and diplomas, amounting to a total of two million dollars.

The T.M. Landry College Preparatory School in Louisiana is under federal investigation over its college admissions practices, transcripts with fake grades, non-existent school clubs and fictitious classes.
