    An official of the Basic Education Community Schools from South Punjab was caught selling around 3,500 textbooks. He also blackmailed teachers in Pakpattan and Okara into paying him between Rs1,000-Rs1,500 for the delivery of books to the education warehouse. Reports state teachers complained several times to relevant education authorities but received no response.

    Public school teachers get code of conduct

    The Government of Liberia through the Ministry of Education has launched a code of conduct for public school teachers across the country. The director for communications at the Ministry of Education said the code of conduct is intended to enable teachers conduct themselves in the classroom as well as eliminate corporal punishment in schools.
    The Ministry of Education has also informed the public that the police have been asked to arrest anyone caught selling textbooks and other school materials being distributed to schools.

Both corruption and the corrupt practices involved in anti-corruption politics in Nigeria are traceable to the value-free instructional practices in Nigerian schools. It takes a fraudulent and morally bankrupt teacher just a class or lesson to destroy through his or her value-free instructional practices whatever gains are recorded in the on-going anti-corruption project.
