According to the State's anti-corruption, watchdog IBAC, for 7 years he covered his tracks by organizing fake invoices sent from companies owned by him and his friends and family that did not do any work.

    Investigations have been launched at the Ministry of Education after an audit revealed that the payroll system has been used illegally to increase the salaries of two employees. The first one, working in administrative affairs, received a bonus on her salary of 1,500 dinars per month from April 2019 to April 2020, and the second employee working in the private education department received a bonus of 800 dinars on her monthly salary from September 2019 to May 2020.

    The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) on Wednesday called for major transformation towards the fight against corruption, saying the noose around corruption must be tightened through pragmatic actions. “The NCCE is therefore raising up the fight against corruption through relentless intensive public and civic education towards changing our attitude, inject public accountability and personal responsibility across the country to help promote good governance”.
