Representatives from the public and private sectors and civil society conveyed their support for Project Bukas, highlighting the value of accessible data in better understanding assessment data and informing educational policies and reforms.

The Delhi government has launched the School Web App, a unified digital platform for students, parents, and teachers that aims to centralize school services like timetables, homework, attendance, performance tracking, and parent-teacher communication. In line with the goals of Digital India and the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision, proponents argue that the education system will become more transparent, accessible and accountable by reducing paperwork.

Designed to enhance transparency and accountability, the initiative empowers parents, teachers, and local governments to monitor education investments and outcomes.

A teachers’ group urged the Department of Education (DepEd) in the Philippines to investigate an alleged “item-for-sale” scheme where public school teaching posts are reportedly sold for cash. The Teachers’ Dignity Coalition condemned the practice, calling it a matter of justice and fairness, and pledged cooperation with DepEd to expose and eliminate corruption in the teacher hiring process.

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) issued an alert regarding a fake social media recruitment advertisement. The fraudulent post falsely claimed "Recruitment 2025" with a ₹47,600 (approx. $570) monthly, requiring no exam. PSEB clarified no such vacancy exists, urging public caution against fraudulent websites. The Board Chair confirmed a police complaint will be filed with the Cyber Crime Cell to combat online fraud.

An audit report reveals the State Educational Loan Fund has been plagued by violations and corruption since 1997 when it began granting loans to students pursuing Higher education abroad. The main finding of the investigation is that 90 percent of the loans were granted to high-level officials, their children, and those who had access to confidential information. There was no transparency or fair competition in the allocation of loans.

Schools and regions can now use the data from the online Indonesian Education Report Card platform to identify problems, find solutions, and improve the quality of education and the equitable distribution of learning outcomes. Following several improvements recommended by the Education Report Card, Al Mujahidin Junior High School drafted teaching modules and learning objectives, 80 percent of teachers carried out differentiated learning, and student achievement improved.

Poverty, the rising rate of early dropouts, ghost schools and teachers, low pass rates in the JEST test for primary school teachers are just some of the factors at the heart of the education crisis in Sindh. The biometric mechanism put in place by the Sindh government proved to be counterproductive and has failed to compel ghost teachers to attend school: 6.5 million children are currently out of school.
