De todas ellas, solo al l'Institut Catholique de Yaoundé se le ha concedido la capacidad de otorgar diplomas nacionales. Las otras 11 instituciones solo están autorizadas para preparar a los estudiantes para los exámenes que llevan a los diplomas nacionales.
