This learning paper was commissioned by Integrity Action with the aim of capturing some of the knowledge, learning and - where possible - evidence around the effectiveness of the work of Integrity Action’s partners in Nepal.

Integrity Action’s presence in Nepal is at a crossroads. From its inception in 2010 to present date, Integrity Action was able to plant the seeds for extensive impact within the education and public sector, as well as civil society. Seeds in each of these sectors have grown with minimum interaction with each other until recently, when new opportunities for collaboration have created an exciting cross pollination of ideas and expertise. The private sector has also appeared as an actor. At this point, Integrity Action can choose whether to keep planting more seeds or strengthen its leadership, harvest what it has developed to date, and transform these spontaneous interactions into a strategic and systematic intervention which can bring transformational change in the country.
