This project consists of the first systematic opinion survey of local-level corruption led in Bangladesh, which identified the nature and extent of public concern in seven sectors, including law enforcement, the justice system, education, land administration, health, banking and municipal services. It demonstrated that corruption affects the daily lives of most people in complex ways and that the poor and women-led households are most vulnerable to its negative impact.
