Expert meeting on quality assurance, accreditation and academic corruption
The Council for Higher Education Accreditation/International Quality Group (CHEA/CIQG) and the International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP) of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hosted a two-day expert meeting to address quality assurance, accreditation and the role they play in combatting academic corruption.

Corrupt schools, corrupt universities launches in Russia
IIEP recently launched a Russian-language version of its book, Corrupt schools, corrupt universities: What can be done? Authored by Jacques Hallak and Muriel Poisson, the book brings to light the importance of combatting corruption in education as well as key tools to detect corruption and tackle malpractices.

Anti-Corruption Summit 2016
On 12 May 2016, the UK hosted the first International Anti-Corruption Summit, bringing together government leaders, and representatives from businesses and civil society to discuss strategies for tackling corruption.
