Transparency International School on integrity 2016

International anti-corruption day
Corrupt practices, such as the misappropriation of educational funds or asking for illegal school fees, can cause significant financial losses to a country’s education budget and represent an unbearable burden for the world’s poorest. Improving transparency and accountability and introducing anti-corruption measures is therefore of utmost importance to improve access, equity and efficiency in the education sector.

Anti-Corruption Forum in Russia

Corrupt schools, corrupt universities launches in Russia
IIEP recently launched a Russian-language version of its book, Corrupt schools, corrupt universities: What can be done? Authored by Jacques Hallak and Muriel Poisson, the book brings to light the importance of combatting corruption in education as well as key tools to detect corruption and tackle malpractices.
