Vanuatu

The Vanuatu Ministry of Education and Training has developed Open VEMIS, the Vanuatu Education Planning Toolbox, to provide planning and management tools for the ministry, schools, regional offices and communities. It allows users to access detailed information on schools that is freely available to the public. It also contains information on policies, materials (for example teachers' manuals) and resources from pre-school to tertiary levels, as well as vocational training. It uses a simplified technical architecture to improve scalability and reliability and to enable sharing of technology with other Pacific Island countries.
