As part of the work of the NAIN, the Academic Integrity Guidelines have been developed and produced by a Working Group, following an extensive process of consultation with both the higher education institutions and a broad range of external stakeholders. The purpose of these advisory (non-statutory) Guidelines is to provide support and advice to Irish higher education providers and professionals nationally to enable a constructive and robust approach to academic integrity, including academic misconduct, within and across Irish higher education.
